There are multiple types of orders in iPath: Add Order, Change Orders and Disconnect Orders, Record Only Add Orders, Record Only Change Orders and Disconnect Customer Orders.
Used to add new services to a Prospect or Customer.
These orders flow from Sales to CRM, Ops, to Billing.
Add Orders are also used to add new services to an existing customer. In this instance, they can start with either Sales or CRM, and flow to Ops then to Billing
Add Orders can be added from the iPath Home Page, Order Tab
Used to make modifications to features on existing services.
Change orders typically flow from CRM to Ops then to Billing
Change orders can be added from the Inventory Management Page
Used to disconnect services for existing customers.
Disconnect orders typically flow from CRM to Ops then to Billing
Disconnect orders can be added from the Inventory Management Page
Used to make modifications or corrections to attributes or features on existing services without involvement from Ops.
Record only change orders typically flow from anyone in the organization, give the option to go to Billing (if the change requires action by Billing) when promoted, or are otherwise closed immediately.

Used to disconnect existing services without involvement from Ops.

NOTE: For Customer Moves, please create Add and Disconnect orders, whereby you add a new service (inventory item) at the new location, and disconnect the inventory at the old location.
