Quotes in $FA are created in one of two ways: either from an existing Funnel Item, or by simply creating a new Quote without a Funnel item.
To create a Quote Package from an existing Funnel item, select the desired Prospect from Pane 1 of the $FA Home page and click the "Quote" link on the funnel item as shown below:
To create a Quote Package without an existing Funnel item, simply select the desired LPOC, select the Quote tab in Pane 2, and click the "New Quote" link as shown below:
iPath knows whether or not you are creating the Quote against a new Prospect or against an existing customer. Depending on the status of the LPOC (i.e it's a Prospect vs. an Opportunity or Customer) clicking the "Quote" or "New Quote" link will bring the user to different windows.
